Information You Provide

If you choose to connect your Imgflip account to generate memes:

Imgflip credentials - Your Imgflip username and password are stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain (Apple's encrypted credential storage). These credentials are never transmitted to Heffay Presents servers.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

Favorite memes - URLs and metadata of memes you've favorited
Cached images - Meme templates and generated memes for faster loading
App preferences - Your settings and last-used Imgflip username

This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Photo Library Access

The app requests permission to save images to your photo library. This permission is used only to save memes you create. The app does not read or access existing photos in your library.

Third-Party Services

Imgflip

When you use the meme generation feature, the app communicates with the Imgflip API (imgflip.com). This involves:

Sending your meme caption text to Imgflip's servers
Authenticating with your Imgflip credentials (if provided)
Receiving the generated meme image URL

Imgflip is a third-party service with its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policy if you use the meme generation feature.

Azure Blob Storage

The app downloads meme templates from our Azure storage. This is a one-way download of public images and does not involve any personal data collection.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect analytics or usage data
We do not track which memes you create or view
We do not display advertisements
We do not use crash reporting services that transmit data
We do not access your contacts, location, or other device data
We do not sell or share any information with third parties

Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by:

Clearing favorites within the app
Removing your Imgflip credentials in settings
Uninstalling the app (removes all app data)

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or collect personal data from users.
